Our Philosophy

Authenticity. It's the key to great music and the key to great speakers. It's also elusive, and you're unlikely to find it in the home audio section at your local big box retailer, with its rows upon rows of boring, silver or black speaker boxes, many made out of flimsy, soulless plastic. These modern eyesores tend to be extremely compact (sometimes only a few inches tall) so you can hide them away in the corners of your home. And, because of their small size, they tend to employ expensive technologies with complicated names to get "big" sound out of such tiny packages (or so they want us to believe).

Tint Audio takes a fundamentally different approach. We think they did things better during the Golden Age of loudspeaker design, in the 1960s and 1970s. Back then, speakers didn't need to be built in miniature because they looked good at a

normal size: simple design, sturdy construction, and attractive finishes in bold color schemes. These speakers had personality. People actually wanted to display them prominently. And, because they were properly sized, they didn't need to be crammed full of complicated technologies in an attempt to make them sound "bigger" than they really were.

Recalling that Golden Age, Tint Audio builds affordable stereo speakers that sound great and look great. Our design philosophy, with its focus on simplicity, allows us to build great speakers from the highest-quality components and offer them directly to you at an extremely reasonable price. We also let you customize your speakers with a broad range of color combinations to fit your own unique style and decor. We love our speakers, and we guarantee you will love them, too.
